Restart the workstation.

Restarting the workstation enables the router (as a DHCP server) to give the
workstation an IP address from its private network, forming a mini-network
between the router and the workstation.
Connect up to four devices to the router.

If you want to connect more than four devices to the router, you can connect
an external hub to the 4/Uplink port using a straight-through cable and set the
port to Uplink. For details, refer to

(Figure
2-6).

Turning the Router On
Connect one end of the 10BASE-T LAN cable to an Ethernet port on
the front of the router.
If necessary, disconnect the workstation from the network.
Connect the other end of the 10BASE-T LAN cable to the Ethernet
port on the workstation.
