Description
Enter the public IP address for the router's LAN interface.
Enter the network mask for the public network IP address on your LAN.
Enter the private IP address for the router's LAN interface. The default private IP
address is 192.168.168.230.
Displays the network mask for your private network. You cannot change the default
netmask of 255.255.255.0.
Enter the IP address of the primary Domain Name Service (DNS) server. When the
router connects to the ISP, it is automatically assigned the IP address for a primary
and secondary DNS.
When a device reboots and acquires an IP address from the router, the IP
addresses of both the primary and the secondary DNS server are provided to the
requesting device.
If the router does not automatically acquire DNS addresses from the ISP, you can
enter them.
Enter the IP address of the secondary DNS.
Select whether to enable the router as a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
(DHCP) server (default). When you enable DHCP, the router assigns an IP address,
network mask, gateway address (the router's private IP address), and DNS
addresses to any devices on the local area network that are configured as a DHCP
client.
Devices on your network that are configured with public or static IP addresses are
not DHCP clients. Therefore, you must assign their IP addresses, network mask,
default gateway's IP address, primary and secondary DNS IP addresses manually.
Select whether the router assigns Windows Internet Naming Service (WINS)
addresses. When you enable WINS, the router provides name resolution for the IP
address associated with each network device.
Enter the highest IP address in the range of IP address.
Enter the lowest IP address in the range of IP addresses.
Select whether to enable IP Routing Information Protocol (RIP). When you enable
IP RIP, the router receives RIP broadcast data from other routers, and broadcasts
the routing table and routing table updates as necessary.
Select the version of IP RIP to use.
This field is displayed if you set IP RIP to Yes.
