IP RIP broadcasts are sent only when the connection is up. The router responds to
these control packets for a default period of 10 minutes, unless you specify a
specific time period (from one minute to 60 minutes).

set ip default route <profile_name>
Sets the IP default route. The default route is used when an IP packet's destination
IP address cannot be found in the IP routing table. If the default route is not
defined, such a packet is discarded.

Assigns the specified "public" IP address to the LAN port of the router. When you
use this command, the LAN port maps to two IP addresses (one public and one
private), and is therefore on two networks.
