To disconnect an interface:
Select the interface in the list and then click Disconnect.
Note: You can disconnect only switched connections, for example, ISDN
switched connection profiles or VPN sessions. You cannot disconnect a voice
call.
To reset all calculated values to zero:
Select the interface in the list and then click Clear.

Creating a Connection Profile

Connection profiles are the foundation of all remote communications. A
connection profile contains all of the information that the router needs to establish
a connection with any user or network that communicates with the router. You can
create several types of connection profiles, including:
Branch-to-branch connection profile to support branch-to-branch remote
access. For details, refer to
Dial-in user connection profile to support remote users dialing in to your
network. For details, refer to
Internet access connection profile to support basic Internet access. For details,
refer to
VPN access connection profile to support a virtual private network (optional
feature). For details, refer to
Profile information includes dial-up phone numbers, authentication information
(the local user name and password and possibly the remote site user name
password). Depending on the type of profile you are creating, other information
may be required.
