Description
Select whether to enable DES encryption. When you enable encryption the router
encrypts all data before it is sent out to the WAN, and decrypts data when it is
received from over the WAN.
This field is displayed if the workstation is connected to the router over a local LAN
and encryption is enabled.
Enter the DES encryption key to be used by other systems to establish a
connection with your system. You need to enter a must be a hexadecimal number
with either 40 or 56 bits (10 or 14 digits).
This field is displayed when Enable Encryption is set to Yes.
Reenter the DES encryption key to confirm that you entered it correctly.
This field is displayed when Enable Encryption is set to Yes.
