If the instrument fails optical alignment or if the single beam or 100% T portions of the
Performance Test
failed:
1. Check the following and then repeat the alignment:
clean the sample windows
• close the sampling arm (make sure it is all the way down)
2. If alignment fails again, cycle the power on the instrument and then repeat the alignment.
3. If alignment fails again, use the Data Hub in qPro Operator software to save the
diagnostics log file and then
If the instrument fails laser calibration or if the wavelength accuracy portion of the
Calibration Check
failed:
1. Check the following and then repeat the laser calibration:
clean the sample windows
• close the sampling arm (make sure it is all the way down)
2. If laser calibration fails again, take a large breath and breathe out slowly on the instrument
sampling area (sampling arm should be down) and then immediately rerun laser
calibration. (Laser calibration requires some water vapor to be present in the sample
compartment.)
3. If laser calibration fails again, use the Data Hub in qPro Operator software to save the
diagnostics log file and then
If the instrument fails quick stage calibration or if the pathlength portion of the
Check
failed:
1. Check the following and then repeat the quick stage calibration:
clean the sample windows
• close the sampling arm (make sure it is all the way down)
2. If quick stage calibration fails again, complete the following in this order:
calibrate the laser frequency
align the instrument optics
• run the
