Maintaining the Instrument

Time needed: 15 minutes
Tools needed:
• Desiccant replacement kit (or desiccant canisters that have been regenerated)
• 0.05-inch hex key
• #2 Phillips-head screwdriver
• 7/64-inch ball driver or hex key
WARNING Before you replace the desiccant, turn off the instrument power switch and
unplug the power cord. Remove all flammable materials from the area. Entry of
flammable liquids or gases into the instrument is an explosion hazard. If such entry
occurs, contact us immediately and do not apply power to the instrument until the
condition has been corrected.

To replace the desiccant
1. Turn off the instrument power switch

2. Disconnect the power cord and the USB cable from the instrument back panel.
