• Do not touch any printed circuit board in the instrument (such as the circuit board on
the detector).
• Do not remove a replacement component from its protective packaging until you are
ready to install that component in the instrument.

Troubleshooting the Instrument
If the outside of the instrument needs cleaning,
Then use a soft cloth that is damp (not wet) and a mild soap to clean the outside of the
instrument.
CAUTION To avoid a shock hazard, do not allow liquid to run into the power supply or
the vents at the back of the instrument.
NOTICE Do not use harsh detergents, solvents, chemicals or abrasives to clean the
instrument; these can damage the finish.
