Draping

About the Draping Procedure
The draping procedure maintains the surgeon's sterile field and provides a sterile barrier between
the patient and the microscope.
Warning
Perform draping with extreme care so that the surgeon can perform microscope navigation
as required without compromising the sterile field.
Warning
Test the range of motion to ensure that microscope movement will not damage the drape.
How to Attach the Array to the Adapter

Warning
Ensure that the marker spheres can be screwed onto the pin until there is no gap between
the marker sphere and the base of the pin.

Attach the Microscope Tracking Array to the Microscope Adapter.
Place the Microscope Tracking Array on the draped Microscope Adapter so that the
teeth match.
Tighten the fixation screw and ensure that the connection is secure.
