Set the System Power switch to STANDBY.
Press and hold the
monitor panel, and turn the System Power switch to ON.
The display window should indicate

Turn the System Power switch to STANDBY.
Disconnect any external serial interface cables from the
back of the monitor housing.
Remove the two monitor housing back cover retainer
screws, and swing open the back cover.
Remove the top shelf from the monitor housing and
disconnect its ground wire.
Repeat Step 5.4.1.2.
Adjust R17 on the top of the monitor (see Figure 5-4) to

Place a small drop of red Glyptal insulating varnish on
the adjustment screw to lock it in place.
Turn the System Power Switch to STANDBY and remove
AC power from the machine.
Reinstall the top shelf on the monitor housing and re-
connect its ground wire.
Close the monitor housing back cover and replace the
retaining screws. Re-connect any external cables that
were previously removed from the serial ports.
