Set the setting mode switch to the left side (operation mode).

Turn on the dia-illumination LED.

Lower the condenser slightly from the uppermost position.

Move the condenser turret to the [A: empty] position.
Turn the condenser turret until the [A: empty] symbol
comes to the front, and align the hole with the optical path.
