is blown directly towards the edge guide (7) by the table air nozzle (4) and
the blow-on air nozzle (3). This provides for perfect control over the seam
guidance and a consistent seam width.
Proper setting
The contour guide (8) is supposed to advance such during the sewing pro-
cess that the contour of the sewing piece is guided reliably to the sewing
foot (1) by the edge guide (7) when the sewing piece is stitched down. The
sewing material must be able to slide with ease.
Adjusting the opening angle to the thickness of the sewing material
To adjust the height of the opening angle to the thickness of the sewing
material:
1. Turn the adjusting wheel (1) to adjust the height of the opening angle.

Adjusting the travel path crosswise to the sewing direction
To adjust the travel path crosswise to the sewing direction (15):
1. Loosen the clamping lever (9).
2. Adjust the contour guide (8) in the area of the slotted hole (14).
 To limit the travel path of the contour guide (8) crosswise to the sewing
