Either by connecting a keyboard and display to the RX-1 receiver or by installing the MCS software
on a remote computer, it is possible to access to a graphical user friendly and intuitive interface.
The RX-1 Compact Operational Receiver has two physical independent RJ45 connectors to allow
Monitoring and Control of the receiver and transmission of TM data on separate networks.
The RX-1 has an independent network configuration on each Ethernet interface.
The description of the Remote Control Interface is described in [AD5].
The graphical interface should be used carefully.
The RX-1 has been designed with dedicated outputs to limit operator's access.
Hence the graphical interface should be considered as an expert interface and the user should avoid
using at the same time the local interface (front panel) and the graphical interface. The use of both
interfaces may generate system instability.
In that case, CTX and MCS files should be deleted and the unit restarted to recover a default
configuration
For a detailed description of the Graphical User Interface, refer to [AD5]
