SD Card Preparation

To perform the upgrade, it is necessary to configure properly the SD Card.
1. The SD Card should be named UPDATE_RX1.
2. Copy the installation files provided by ZDS into the cd_rtr_next directory on the SD card.
Take care to delete the content of this directory before copying the new installation files.
3. If the upgrade is provided as an ISO file format, unzip the content in the cd_trt_next
directory.
4. The SD card is now ready to perform the RX-1 upgrade and should have the following
structure.

Back up of the configuration files
Uninstalling the Cortex RTR software erases all the configuration files:
- To save the mcs files, save the directory
- To save the CTX files, save the following files :
- To save the ch10 html file :
After reinstallation of the RTR software, it is possible to copy these configuration files in the
dedicated folders.

RX-1 upgrade
The software upgrade is done by inserting the SD card in the reserved access on the front panel:
If the version to be installed is different from the version already installed, the upgrade will start
automatically. If, for any reason, the version to be installed is the same as the one already installed,
the upgrade should be started manually.
This may occur if a new licensed option has been unlocked in the current version for instance.
