Signal strength and data quality

In addition, signal strength is available for each channel, and data quality for each demod/bit-
synchronizer (see Figure 8, Figure 9, Figure 10).
The signal strength (the bar graph on the left) represents the level detected at the RF (or IF) input
front end, from -110dBm to +10dBm. It switches from dark to bright blue when the signal detected is
above the threshold represented by the grey arrow.
The data quality (the bar graph on the right) represents the estimation of the bit decision quality
made by the demodulator/bit-synchronizer. This value is rated from negative value up to 20. It turns
red below 5, orange between 5 and 10, yellow between 10 and 15, and green above 15. It is derived
from a Eb/N0 estimation.
For the Combined channel display (see Figure 13), no Signal Strength is available, only Data Quality
is displayed. If Adaptive Equalizer option is enabled, a "equalizer quality" status bar is displayed on
the left.
