Modulation Scheme
To modify the modulation scheme, the "Mode" parameter needs to be selected in the Main Menu.
The Mode prompt window displays a drop-down list in order to select the new modulation
scheme:

The Differential Encoder is recommended for SOQPSK-TG (as per IRIG106), so that it may be
compatible with the other Tier1 Waveforms (FQPSK-JR). This parameter is automatically enabled
for SOQPSK-TG, and disabled for SOQPSK-LDPC. This parameter is not accessible to the
operator.
It has to be noted that the SOQPSK-LDPC mode will rely on the selected LDPC code (cf 5.3.6 ).
In such a mode, other FEC cannot be selected.
In case of a change of modulation or coding scheme, a firmware loading is processed:
