Arbitrary errors can be inserted within the bit stream, so that a BER of 10-3 or 10-4 can be measured on the BER
Tester. It is not induced by noise, so a FEC cannot correct them.
The bit stream from the bit generator can be used to modulate a carrier in the current Modulation Mode selected
for the receiver.
A carrier can be enabled in order to test internally any of the 2 RF channels. If modulation is disabled, the carrier
will be pure.
