Tracking Configuration Sub-Menu
This menu gives access to all the parameters allowing to properly set-up the interface with the Ground
Station tracking system, mainly AGC and AM signals.
In operational mode, AGC is in Automatic mode in order to compensate the varying level of the input signal. In
this mode, the choice of Time Constant has to be made, generally based on the tracking system characteristics.
NEW FEATURE: A new technique has been implemented in the receiver to properly extract AM signal even
with a short AGC time constant which is necessary to track high rate fading. Hence, it is recommended to set
the time constant for AGC to 0.1 ms.
