F Fieldbus Block Information
OUNDATION
Description
The revision level of the static data associated with
the function block. The revision value increments
each time a static parameter value in the block is
changed.
The user description of the intended application of
the block.
The strategy field can be used to identify grouping
of blocks. This data is not checked or processed by
the block.
The identification number of the plant unit. This
information may be used in the host for sorting
alarms, etc.
The actual, target, permitted, and normal modes of
the block.
Target: The mode to "go to"
Actual: The mode the "block is currently in"
Permitted: Allowed modes that target may take on
Normal: Most common mode for target
This parameter reflects the error status associated
with the hardware or software components
associated with a block. It is a bit string, so that
multiple errors may be shown.
This alert is generated by any change to the static
data.
The 2230 transducer block does not support update
of BLOCK_ALM information, and it does not publish
BLOCK_ALM on segment/FF bus.
Directory that specifies the number and starting
indices of the transducers in the transducer block.
Identifies the transducer.
Transducer type version
A transducer block alarm subcode. Provides
additional error codes related to transducer blocks.
A directory that specifies the number, starting
indices, and DD Item ID's of the data collections in
each transducer within a transducer block.
Temperature inside device housing.
Measurement unit for temperature.
Restart/Reset Device to factory default.
