4.4.5 Audible Signal

When an automated leak test is performed, there may be an audible
signal to notify the operator the control detected a disconnected or a
non-connected hose while a SINGLE or DOUBLE cycle is running. The
audible signal can be either ignored or acknowledged. Display shows:
and/or:
1. If audible signal is ignored, no further action is required. SINGLE
or DOUBLE cycle runs and the following printout informs
operator automated leak test was not performed:

2. If audible signal is acknowledged, operator presses STOP touch
pad to silence audible signal. Processor drains and display
shows:
Once draining is completed, operator can then choose between
resuming or cancelling cycle. Display shows:
a. If operator chooses to resume cycle without any hoses
connected either to endoscope or processor, filling phase
takes place and automated leak test is attempted a second
time. Go back to Step 1. Do not acknowledge audible
signal.
b. If operator chooses to cancel cycle, door can be opened,
leak test hoses connected and a new cycle can be started.
