4.4.2 Pentax Leak Test Adapter
for i10c Series

4.4.3 Starting Cycle

After cycle is completed, disconnect extremity of leak test hose(s)
from endoscope leak test port(s) (see Figure 4-18).
After cycle is completed, when you need to disconnect quick
connect extremity of leak test hose(s) from flexible connection(s),
proceed as follows:
1. With one hand, hold flexible connection (see Figure 4-17).
2. With other hand, push back quick connect locking sleeve and
gently pull out flexible connection. Flexible connection is
released from quick connect (see Figure 4-17).
If reprocessing Pentax i10c Series endoscopes, follow the Pentax
reprocessing instructions for leak test preparation (see Wall Chart
PTPW3028). Use of the Pentax Venting Connector Adapter (OE-C29)
is required for leak testing these endoscopes.

The leak test sequence is initiated after the door is closed, the SINGLE/
DOUBLE touch pad is pressed and the START touch pad is pressed.
This automated leak test occurs during the filling phase and prior to the
recirculation phase.
