Localization maps saved in VMS service
When the ActiveShuttles perform mapping trips or map updates, they save the data in a folder of the VMS
service. This folder needs to be mounted as a volume in the docker-compose file, as shown:

9.1.2 Maintenance by the customer

To maintain the quality of the product, the customer must proceed make sure they do the following:
→ Install Linux updates.
→ Install AMS updates.
→ Install Docker updates.
→ Use security measures (user permissions, firewall, logs, etc.).
→ Back up and restore the server data.

9.1.3 Maintenance by the provider

Bosch Rexroth AG in its role as the ActiveShuttle provider is responsible for the following maintenance
measures:
Software
The provider is responsible for releasing updated product software onboard (AGV software) as well as
offboard (AMS server) to ensure safety, security, and legal compliance.

9.1.4 Remote access for software maintenance

When connected for servicing purposes, Bosch Rexroth AG has the possibility to
• View the map layout and the User Management.
• Collect log messages of the AMS services or the ActiveShuttles.
Notice
• The accessible and collected data is only used for the intended purpose and will not be
forwarded to other entities.
• A contract with Bosch Rexroth AG is required allowing Bosch Rexroth AG to access and
transfer the corresponding data for maintenance purposes.

9.1.5 Backup and restoring server data

For the backup and restoration process the following files and databases must be saved:
• MongoDB
• InfluxDB
• Keycloak database (Postgres)
• Maps saved in mapsrv (map images)
