Online Sign-Up
The Online Sign-Up section includes the following parameters:
Enable Online Sign-Up: Check to enable Online Sign-Up. The default is disabled (unchecked).
Online Sign-Up SSID: Available only of Online Sign-Up is enabled (checked). The SSID used for all
OSU (online Sign-Up) connections to all the listed OSU Providers (see
page
97).
3.5.6.2.10 Online Sign-Up Icons
The Online Sign-Up Icons section contains optional icons of available OSU (Online Sign-Up) Providers to
support Icon Request & Response exchange between the device and the AP when the mobile device is
configured to display the OSU Icon.
To add an OSU Icon enter it's name in the text box on the left side of the Add button and click on the
button.
The Online Sign-Up Icons section includes the following parameters for each entry:
Language: A drop-down list of languages, allowing to identify the language used for defining the
icon. The default is English.
File: The icon's PNG file. Click on the Browse button to load the suitable icon file.
3.5.6.2.11 Online SignUp Providers
The Online SignUp Providers List ANQP-element contains a list of entities that offer online sign-up service
at the hotspot.
