Memory Functions

6.7.1

Storing and Accessing Parameters

The memory buttons M1...M5 (Fig. 6.7) allow you to store frequently used laser parameters –
i.e. the ones currently shown on the display screen – so that they can be easily retrieved later.
There are five memory locations available for storing five different settings. The parameter
settings stored in this way are retained when the laser unit is switched off.
Storing a set of parameters (program)
If you want to store the currently used settings, press the appropriate memory button
(M1...M5) for about 5 seconds.

In Fig. 6.13, the following parameters are stored as a customized program: CW, 15 W, pilot
brightness 55%. Upon pressing the M1 button for a few seconds, a menu will be displayed that
allows you to enter a name for the memory location in which the program will be stored.
