Parameters in Single-Pulse Mode

Output power (average power): setting procedure same as described above for CW mode.
Adjustment range:
Pulse length
Select the pulse length ("PULSE") field with the "SELECT" button, then adjust the value
using the arrow buttons. Both buttons provide an autorepeat function: keeping the
respective button continuously pressed increases or decreases the value increment by
increment.

Pulse-Train Mode

Upon operating the footswitch, the laser emits a sequence of laser pulses until the footswitch is
released again. At the same time, the average laser power is displayed. This value is
calculated from the output power (maximum power), the pulse length and either the time
interval (pause) or the pulse rate.

Parameters in Pulse-Train Mode

Output power (maximum power): power setting procedure same as described above for
single-pulse or CW (continuous-wave) mode.

Select the pulse pause ("PAUSE") field with the "SELECT" button, then adjust the value
using the arrow buttons. Both buttons provide an autorepeat function: keeping the
respective button pressed continuously increases or decreases the value increment by
increment. This value indicates the interval between the end of a pulse and the start of the
next pulse.

Pulse repetition rate (pulse rate): In frequency mode, the pulse frequency (i.e. the number
of pulses per second) can be used alternatively.
