Cycle
To select cycle mode, the "cycle" button must be pressed in addition to the "pulse train"
button. As a result, the Cycle Length and Cycle Pause (or Cycle Rate) parameters are
displayed.

Superpulse Mode

In superpulse mode, the laser generates very short laser light pulses whose intensity is
amplified by the physical processes occurring in the laser tube. This enables a more or less
"athermal" laser application, due to the high peak power outputs and the simultaneously low
pulse energy. While the footswitch is held down, the laser emits a sequence of short light
pulses separated from each other by the selected time interval (pause). Releasing the
footswitch stops the irradiation process. Via the display, you can only set either the interval
(pause) or the pulse frequency. The pulse width and the peak power, in contrast, are fixed
values. In addition, the average power is automatically displayed.
