Installation

4.1
Unpacking the Unit & User's Inspection
All MCO25plus units are subject to stringent quality checks and tests prior to shipment.
Therefore, the system can be expected to be in good working order when it arrives on the
user's premises. Note, however, that the unit must be unpacked, installed and checked by a
person specially authorized by Gebrüder Martin to do such work. Any external defects found –
either on the packaging or the unit itself – must be reported to Gebrüder Martin without delay.
In case of external shipping damage, the user must leave the unit in packaged condition in
order to be able to provide evidence of the damage and substantiate potential warranty claims.

Laser Location

Fig. 3.1 shows the MCO25plus laser system, which has a weight of 57 kg and can be easily
moved on its wheels (castors).
Attention!
The unit may only be used when its temperature is roughly the same as that of
the ambient air! This requirement needs particular attention when the system is
relocated. In case of temperature differentials (especially during the winter
months), it is best to transfer the unit to the respective treatment room one day
in advance so that there is enough time for the unit to adapt to the room
temperature.
When setting up and installing the MCO25plus, be sure to maintain a clearance or wall
distance of at least 30 cm. This is required for the heated air to escape through the system's
ventilation openings.
