MCO25plus Operating Instructions
Operating the C5 button rotates the figure repeatedly in large steps of 90 degrees (curved
line) or 45 degrees (straight line) and switches between the two types of line.
Fine-adjustment of the selected line's rotary position is also possible by operating the C5
button repeatedly. Finally, the "SELECT" button must be pressed for confirmation. This
activates the D8 field, with the scanning line being displayed inversely in the selected
rotational position.

You can now use the P2 and P3 buttons (Fig. 6.9) to rotate the selected line in steps of ±5
degrees. The effect of the rotation should be checked with the pilot beam image, thereby
adjusting the line to its optimal position. Note that the angular position of the displayed line is
not fully identical with the line's angular position in the surgical field because it depends on a
number of factors: the laser's position relative to the operating table, the current position of
the scanner and the orientation of the application optics. To enable exact positioning of the
scanning line in the surgical field, the positions of the laser unit, the articulated mirror arm and
the application optics should not be changed any more after they have been fixed. The
