Function
Indicator lights up as soon as
radiation is emitted
Pressing this button switches unit to
safe operating condition; unit
inoperable; no power output
(irradiation) possible
Pressing this button switches pilot
(aiming) beam on/off
Activation (emission of laser
radiation) now possible by operating
the footswitch
Pressing this button allows cyclical
(downward) selection of the
parameters displayed on the LCD
Pressing this button (or keeping it
pressed) allows incremental decrease
of the parameter selected
Pressing this button (or keeping it
pressed) allows incremental increase
of the parameter selected
Rotates the "straight line" or "curved
line" scanning pattern in small
increments
These functions allow access to, and
retrieval of, the parameters
(programs) stored in the system's
memory. However, pressing the
respective button for more than 5
seconds stores the currently used
settings and an acoustic signal is
emitted for confirmation.

Yellow button backlight on;
flashes alternatingly with S1 if
a power check is being carried

inversely (highlighted)
Short touch means single-step
reduction (1 increment);
keeping button pressed means
continuous, repetitive reduction
Short touch: one-increment
change;
keeping button pressed:
continuous, repetitive increase
Fine-rotation of the selected
scanning pattern
Memory buttons
Call up: short touch
Store: hold button down
