Permanent Scanning

CYCLE RATE
Adjusting range: 10 ms to 10 s
If you select "Cycle", the scanner continuously repeats the selected scanning pattern.
Without "Cycle", the area outlined by the scanning pattern is scanned exactly once.
Cycle mode is a repetitive process, the set pause separating one scan from the next (i.e.,
the pause must first elapse before the next scan is automatically started). Selecting a cycle
pause of 10 ms, or a cycle rate of 5 Hz, results in a quasi-permanent scanning process.
When using the "CYCLE" function, the D5 menu line will indicate either the interval between
two scans (in Time Mode) or the cycle rate or number of scans per second (in Frequency
Mode) instead of the "CENTER" function.
