Changing the footrests

The procedures are the same on both footrests.

Check the frame for cracks and deformation.
If the frame exhibits cracks or deformation due to a
mechanical impact:

Change the frame.
Info
Always replace a frame that has been
damaged due to a mechanical impact. Repair
of the frame is not authorized by Husqvarna
Motorcycles.
Condition
The frame protectors have been removed on the left and right.

Remove split pin and take off the washer.

Press the spring with special tool
I Footrest spring plier (79029083000)
✓ The special tool is applied to area

Remove pin
-
Position the new footrest and pin.
Info
Only insert the pins to the extent that the spring can
still be mounted.
