Using expansion key modules

Connecting expansion key modules to your phone gives you addi-
tional, freely configurable keys.
Expansion key module Mitel M680
You can connect up to three Mitel M680 expansion key modules next to
each other on the right of the phone. The Mitel M680 expansion key mod-
ules has the following properties:
• 16 configurable keys. Three expansion key modules would then give
you an additional 48 configurable keys.
• Each key has a LED for visual signalling.
• The keys on the expansion key module support all key types that are
supported by your phone's keys, except room keys, operator keys, and
operator queue overview key.
• The configurable keys of the expansion key module are operated the
same way as the configurable keys of your phone.
• The keys must have been configured either by your system administra-
tor or by the phone user in the Self Service Portal (see the chapter
"MiVoice Office 400 Self Service Portal", page 9).
• Labels for key identification (see chapter "Using labels", page 25).
