Expected lifetime for the X-ray unit
Periodic maintenance
The equipment shall have a technical mainte-
nance to maintain fault-free operation and en-
sure safety for patient and operator.
All steel cables of X-ray tube stand and radio-
graphic wall stand shall be checked
All steel cables of X-ray tube stand and radio-
graphic wall stand shall be exchanged to main-
tain fault-free operation and ensure safety for
patient and operator
Replacing the coin cell battery of the X-ray gen-
erator
Maintenance by the user
Check constant smooth movements
Check ease of movements
Check secure release and locking of brakes
Check functioning of operating controls
Check markers and warning signs
Warm-up of X-ray tube
Check all electric cables and connections for
damage or broken cables.

CAUTION:
In case of functional defects or other deviations from normal
operation behavior the unit has to be switched off immediately
