2.9 Printer power
Important: Do not connect the printer USB cable until prompted during the printer driver installation.
Important: If connecting by Ethernet, add the ferrite (supplied with the printer) before plugging in the Ethernet
cable.
To connect power to the printer:
1. Plug the power cable into the back of the printer.
2. Plug the wall power cable into a standard 100-240 VAC power outlet.
3. Switch on the printer.
If the physical switch is left on and the printer is left idle, the printer enters a low power state. When a print job is
sent, the printer restores full power and the print job commences.
