Cause
The ribbon installed in the printer does not
match the ribbon type selected in the
printer driver.
OR
A self-test job cannot be printed with the
print media installed.
Unspecified system error is detected by
printer firmware.
The print head has become too hot.
The ambient temperature of the printer is
too high.
OR
Sensor failure.
Film is not installed.
Card became jammed in printer during
transfer.
Lam right has failed calibration.
There is no material loaded in the
laminator.
Firmware error in either the printer or the
laminator.
Card in system needs to be manually
removed.
Remove laminate rolls from the laminator.
The wrong laminate type is installed in the
laminator.

Solution
Replace the ribbon in the printer with the type
specified by the printer driver.
Reset printer and try again. If problem
persists, call for technical assistance.
Allow to cool off and try again.

Install the film. Press OK and run the
calibration routine again.
Clear the jam.
Verify materials are installed in all stations.
Close the laminator cover and retry
calibration.
Install the film and press Resume. To cancel
the print, click Cancel Print or press the
Cancel button on the printer.

problem persists, call for technical
assistance.
Open the laminator top cover. Use the printer
button to move the card out of the laminator
or remove the card manually.

film and close the laminator front cover.
Ensure that the appropriate laminator film is
installed and press the Resume button
located on the printer to continue printing. To
cancel, click Cancel Print or press the Cancel
button on the printer.
