Suitable cards must have a polished PVC surface free of fingerprints, dust, or any other types of embedded contaminants. For best results, HID recommends UltraCard™, UltraCard stock has a glossy PVC laminate on top and bottom and is optically inspected to provide the cleanest, most scratch and debris-reduced cards possible. Two types of UltraCard card stock are available.

3.5.8 Internal printer settings Use this option for adjusting the internal printer settings. These settings have been customized for the printer at the factory. These printer settings are HID advanced settings based on Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM). Any changes affect the settings for the firmware.

After installation, the Status Monitor is set to launch on start up. It can be accessed through a short cut in your startup folder or an icon in the notification area (which may be hidden). To make the HID Status Monitor icon be more visible on your PC, you can pin it to your taskbar or use the Windows settings to always show the icon on the taskbar.
