10.1.11 Human interface

• Liquid crystal display: illuminated, four lines with 16 characters per line
• Custom configurations for presenting different measured value and status variables
Local operation with three optical sensor keys (–, +, E)
Operation via FOUNDATION Fieldbus using suitable configuration or operating
software.

10.1.12 Certificates and approvals

Information about currently available Ex versions (ATEX, FM, CSA) can be supplied by
your E+H Sales Centre on request. All explosion protection data are given in a separate
documentation which is available upon request.
The measuring system is in conformity with the statutory requirements of the EC
Directives. Endress+Hauser confirms successful testing of the device by affixing to it
the CE mark.
The Prosonic Flow 93 flowmeter has passed all the test procedures implemented and
has been certified and registered by the Fieldbus FOUNDATION. The flowmeter thus
meets all the requirements of the specifications listed below:
• Certified to the FOUNDATION Fieldbus Specification
• The flowmeter meets all the specifications of the FOUNDATION Fieldbus-H1.
• Interoperability Test Kit (ITK), revision status 4.0: the device may also be operated
using certified devices from other manufacturers.
• Physical Layer Conformance Test of the Fieldbus FOUNDATION
