Performing a zero point adjustment (with local display

Operate the system until normal operating conditions resume.
2.
Stop the flow (v = 0 m/s).
3.
Check the shut-off valves for leaks.
4.
Check that operating pressure is correct.

Now, using the local display, select the "ZERO POINT ADJUSTMENT" function in
the function matrix (CH1 = channel 1, CH2 = channel 2):
HOME → F → MEASURED VARIABLES → R → BASIC FUNCTIONS
BASIC FUNCTIONS → F → PROCESS PARAMETER CH1 or CH2
PROCESS PARAMETER CH1 or CH2 → F → R → ADJUSTMENT
ADJUSTMENT → F → ZERO POINT ADJUSTMENT
When you press OS you are automatically prompted to enter the code if the

function matrix is still disabled.
Now use OS to select "START" and press F to confirm.

Select "YES" at the prompt and press F again to confirm.
Zero point adjustment now starts.
– The message "ZERO ADJUST RUNNING" appears on the display for
30...60 seconds while zero point adjustment is in progress.

Note!
If the fluid velocity exceeds 0.1 m/s, the following error message appears on the
display:
– For channel 1: "0-ADJ. FAIL CH1 #743"
– For channel 2: "0-ADJ. FAIL CH2 #744"
This error is relayed to downstream function blocks or higher-level process control
systems via the FOUNDATION Fieldbus by means of the status "UNCERTAIN" for
the output value OUT (AI Block).
An exact description of the error messages is provided on Page 98.

When the zero point adjustment is completed, the "ZEROPOINT ADJUSTMENT"
function reappears on the display.

Back to the HOME position:
– Press and hold down the Esc keys (
