Configuring the "Transducer Blocks"
The individual Transducer Blocks contain various parameter groups, arranged by the
device-specific functions:
Flow measurement channel 1 → TRANSDUCER_CH1 (base index: 1200)
Flow measurement channel 2 → TRANSDUCER_CH2 (base index: 1300)
Local display functions
Totalizers 1–3
Diagnostic functions
Service functions
The following description provides an example for the Transducer Block
"TRANSDUCER_CH1" (base index 1200).
10. Enter the desired block name (optional).
Factory setting: TRANSDUCER_ CH1_xxxxxxxxxxx
11. Open the Transducer Block "TRANSDUCER_CH1" (base index 1200).
12. Now configure the device-specific parameters relevant to your application,
(commissioning/values for installing the sensor, see Page 63):

Note!
– Note that changes to the device parameters can only be made after entering a
valid release code in the "Un-/Locking - Access Code" parameter.
– The choice of system units in the Transducer Block "TRANSDUCER_CH1" (base
index 1200) or "TRANSDUCER_CH2" (base index 1300) does not have any effect
on the output value of the OUT parameter in the Analog Input function block. The
units for the process variables which are transmitted via the FOUNDATION
Fieldbus interface must be specified separately in the Analog Input function
block via the XD_SCALE and OUT_SCALE parameter group.
13. Set the Transducer Blocks you require for your application to the automatic mode
(depends on the selection in the CHANNEL parameter of the subsequant Analog
Input function block, see Page 69):
– TRANSDUCER_CH1" (base index 1200) for one of the following assignments:
CHANNEL = 2, 21, 23, 30
– TRANSDUCER_CH2" (base index 1300) for one of the following assignments:
CHANNEL = 20, 22, 24, 31
– TRANSDUCER_CH1" and TRANSDUCER_CH1" for one of the following
assignments: CHANNEL = 25, 26, 27, 28, 29
– TRANSDUCER_TOT" (base index 1550) for one of the following assignments:
CHANNEL = 7, 8, 9
Select "AUTO" in the "Target" parameter in the MODE_BLK parameter group of the
Transducer Block in question.
The Transducer Block is in automatic mode once the "Actual" parameter in the
same parameter group displays "AUTO".
