15.3 Serial Interface Channel 0 Control Registers

The following four types of registers are used to control serial interface channel 0.
• Timer clock select register 3 (TCL3)
• Serial operating mode register 0 (CSIM0)
• Serial bus interface control register (SBIC)
• Interrupt timing specify register (SINT)
(1) Timer clock select register 3 (TCL3) (See Figure 15-4.)
This register sets the serial clock of serial interface channel 0.
TCL3 is set with an 8-bit memory manipulation instruction.
RESET input sets TCL3 to 88H.
Remark TCL3 has functions to set the serial clock of serial interface channel 1 besides setting the serial clock
(2) Serial operating mode register 0 (CSIM0) (See Figure 15-5.)
This register sets serial interface channel 0 serial clock, operating mode, operation enable/stop, wake-up function
and displays the address comparator match signal.
CSIM0 is set with a 1-bit or 8-bit memory manipulation instruction.
RESET input sets CSIM0 to 00H.
Caution Do not switch the operation mode (3-wire serial I/O/2-wire serial I/O/SBI) during the serial
