6.1 Port Functions
The µ PD78014 and 78014Y Subseries each incorporate two input ports and fifty-one input/output ports. Figure
6-1 shows the port types. Every port is capable of 1-bit and 8-bit manipulations and can carry out considerably varied
control operations. Besides port functions, the ports can also serve as on-chip hardware input/output pins.
