WIRING HARNESS REPLACEMENT (4-

SEAT)
1. Remove the seats and disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the fasteners retaining the rear cargo box,
and remove the cargo box.
3. Remove upper and lower rear close off panels.
4. Remove the front bumper. Refer to Front Fascia page
11.17.
5. Remove the rear bumper. Refer to Rear Fascia page
11.18.
6. Remove the fasteners
shield on the right rear side. Remove the shield.
7. Remove the upper and lower dash. Refer to Hood /
Front Body page 11.19.
8. Remove the Ride Command display and the SCM.
9. Remove driver seat belt base.
10. Remove the throttle pedal and brake pedal assembly.
11. Remove the center console and floor. Refer to Rocker
Panels, Console, and Floor page 11.13.
12. Remove the seats and seat frames.
13. Remove the ECU cover and disconnect the harness
from the ECU.
14. Remove the front fender flairs.
15. Disconnect the wiring harness from all sensors and
controls.
16. Removal all harness retaining clips from the chassis.
Refer to Electrical Harness Retention page 12.44.
17. Remove the harness through the front of the vehicle.
18. Route new harness the same way as the old harness.
Refer to Electrical Harness Retention page 12.44.

19. Install all previously removed parts and torque
fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Body Panel Fasteners:
7 ft-lbs (10 Nm)
TORQUE
Heat Shield Fasteners:
9 ft-lbs (12 Nm)
TORQUE
Seat Base Support Bracket Fasteners:
15 ft-lbs (20 Nm)
TORQUE
Seat Bracket Fasteners (Passenger):
9 ft-lbs (12 Nm)
