9. Loosen two hose clamps and remove rubber hose
from the fuel tank.
10. Remove any remaining fasteners retaining the fuel
tank to the frame.
11. Lift the rear of the fuel tank up first. Carefully pull the
fuel tank out of the vehicle.

1. Reverse the removal procedure for fuel tank
installation.
Fuel Tank Fasteners:
15 ft-lbs (20 Nm)
Body Panel Fasteners:
7 ft-lbs (10 Nm)
Seat Base Frame Fasteners:
15 ft-lbs (20 Nm)
Shift Knob Fastener:
35 in-lbs (4 Nm)
Shift Knob Fastener:
13 ft-lb (18 Nm)
Battery Cable Fasteners:
60 in-lbs (7 Nm)
