Skin Temperature Control Module

Problem/Message
Red LED ±1.0 °C flashing.
Display of measured value flashing.
Intermittent audible alarm.
Red LED Sensor lit.
Three dashes flashing in center of
display for measured values.
Intermittent audible alarm.
Err flashing in display for measured
values.
Red LED Inop. lit in main module.
Continuous audible alarm.
Err continously lit in display of
measured values.
Reference temperature of 36 °C
is outside tolerance of ±0.1 °C
when 6 key is pressed.

Likely Causes
Skin temperature deviating from
set value by more or equal
than ±1.0 °C.
Skin temperature sensor not
properly connected.
Defective skin temperature sensor.
Defect in skin temperature control
module while in operation.
Defect in skin temperature control
module (while not in operation);
skin temperature control switched off. Call DrägerService.
Temperature measuring module
not operating accurately.

attached to patient.

patient and inform physician re-

Other modules continue to operate
properly.
