POMPE A EAU
Fonctionnement :
6.1
a) pompe de circulation :
Elle aspire l'eau de mer au. travers d'une orepine etla refoule
la �ulasse.
L'eau est ensuite lnjectee dans le coude 'd't\chappement
ri�. elle refroldlt les gaz d'�happement,.
b) pomps d e ca/a
:
Elle aspire l'eau pouvant s'accurnuler dans la cale.
Afin d'eviter la deterioration eventuelle de la pompe de cale, qui tourne en permanence, mais
pas
n'est constamment alimentee. l'entretoise en celoron qui separe les 2 corps de pompe
corpporte une communi<;ation assurant le transfert d'une petite quaniite d'eau dans la pompe
de cale �rantlssant sa « lubrificatiom> .
NO'TA : la pompe de cale et la pompe de circulation consti'luent un ensemble entratne par une
po. u lie unique. Du fait de l'arbre commun. les vi less es de rotation sont identlques. Les rotors
sont d'l!gales dimensions, seules leurs duretl!s dlttl!rent.
Depose

clebrancher l es canalisations d'entree et de sortie de p0mpe.
. detendre l'alternateur et enlever la courro1e.
devisser l'ecrou de tenue de la poulie puls enlever celle-ci.
recu�rer la clavene d'entralnemeht.
d�bloquer les boulons de retenue du support sur la plaque avan1. (Fig. B23).
d�ager !'ensemble.
6.3 Repose
mettre !'ensemble en p
placer la clavene d'ent
monter la poulie et serrer son ecrou de mai ntien.
reiendre la courrole.

How it works :
6.1
a) the
cooling circuit pump :
It �ucks In seawater th�ough strainer and delivers it to the cyllnder. and then to the cylinder·
a·
laead. The water is ihen Injected Into the exhaus·t elbow at the outlet of which
exhaust gasses.
b) the bilge pump ;
It sucks up any accumulation of bilge water.
So as to avoid eventual damage to the bilge pump which is continually rotating, but which
isn't continually supplied with water. the spacer in C!! l eron separating the bodies of the pump
hes a channel allowing the passage of a small quantity of .water in the bilge pump ensuring Its

NOTE : the bilge pump and the coollng circuit pump form a unit ddven by the same bolt.
Because of the common shaft the revolution speeds are identical. The rotors are the same size,
only their hardness is different.
Removing

disconnect the inlet and outlet ducts of tile purnp .
loosen the AC generator and remove the belt.
unscrew the nut holding the pulley and remove it.
recover the drive ke.y,
loosen the bolts holding the support on the front plate (Fig. 8231.
recover the unit. ·
6.3
Refitting
bacl<
put the assembly in place on the front plate and tighten the securTng bolts.
position the drive key on the shaft.
r. e flt the pulley and tighten ist fixation nut.
res.tretch the belt.
