FRONT HANDLEBAR COVER

Remove the front upper cover (page 3-9).
Remove the following:
– rear view mirrors
– handlebar post lid (by sliding it forward)
– four tapping screws
Push the rear handlebar cover and release the four
tabs of the front handlebar cover.
Disconnect the headlight 3P (black) connector and

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Route the head-
light wire properly
TORQUE:
(page 1-19).
Rear view mirror lock nut:

REAR HANDLEBAR COVER

Remove the front handlebar cover (page 3-14).
Remove the following:
– two tapping screws (front side)
– screw (rear side)
Remove the rear handlebar cover from the handle-
bar and disconnect the handlebar sub harness 12P
(Gray) and combination meter 16P connectors.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Route the wires
properly (page 1-
19).
