communicate with
the instrument while
the instrument is
initializing.
Possible problem
with the data system
PC or personality
card.
The instrument's
CPU battery ceased
working.
Personality card
electronic error.
The Ethernet cable
has been
disconnected.
Corrective Action
1. Cycle power to the
detector.
2. If problem persists,
contact Waters
Technical Service to
replace the personality
card.
1. Close the data system
and wait until both front
panel LEDs are green
(steady, not flashing).
2. Reconnect or restart the
data system.
1. Cycle power to both the
detector and the data
system PC.
2. If problem persists,
contact Waters
Technical Service.
Replace the instruments's
CPU battery.
1. Cycle power to the
detector.
2. If error persists, contact
Waters Technical
Service to replace the
personality card.
