3.10 CALCULATIONS - EACH METER

Equations/calculation methods contained herein are based upon API Manual of
Petroleum Measurement Standards, Chapter 14, Section 3, Part 4. In the event of
discrepancies the API document shall have precedence.
A. Orifice Diameter
d = OD [1 + PA (TF - PT)]
where,

d = Corrected orifice diameter, inches at TF
OD = Measured orifice diameter, inches at PT
PA = Plate coefficient of thermal expansion
TF = Measured fluid temperature, degrees F
PT = Plate measurement temperature, degrees F
