3.3 Setting the Ethernet Control

You can control the WT1600FC from a PC using the Ethernet interface. To enable this
function, YOKOGAWA's dedicated software must have been installed on the PC in
addition to entering the settings described above.

FcEvaluation version 1.01 or later.

Setting the User Name
• Enter the user name to allow access to the WT1600FC.
• Enter up to 15 characters.
• The characters that can be used are 0-9, A-Z, %, _, ( ) (parenthesis), - (minus
sign).
• If you specify anonymous, the WT1600FC can be accessed from the outside (PC)
without a password.
Setting the Password
• Enter the password for the user name to allow access to the WT1600FC.
• Enter up to 15 characters.
• The characters that can be used are 0-9, A-Z, %, _, ( ) (parenthesis), - (minus
sign).
• If the user name is set to anonymous, the WT1600FC can be accessed from the
outside (PC) without a password.
• The password setting is entered twice.
Setting the Timeout Time
The WT1600FC closes the connection to the network if there is no access for a
certain period of time (timeout time).
The available settings are 0 to 3600 s, or Infinite. The default value is Infinite.
Note
To apply new settings, the WT1600FC must be power cycled.
