Ending Mobile Link

Condition
There are a number of limitations when you are ending Mobile Link and restoring audio and video
back to the Avaya Workplace Client client.
• The XT Series is not disconnected from the meeting. You must disconnect it manually, using
the remote control or the Avaya Workplace Client client moderator feature.
• The audio microphone and speakers remain muted. You must manually reactivate them.
Note:
On Avaya Workplace Client client, do not close the Mobile Link menu while the Mac is
searching for XT Series endpoints.

Configuring Access to the XT Series by Service Personnel

Avaya has developed a method for their service personnel to securely access the XT Series.
Using this method, service personnel can identify any issues with the XT Series either remotely or
from an onsite location. XT Series and other Avaya products now support Enhanced Access
Security Gateway (EASG). Check the which support tools are enabled by your product.
